Colorbond installation options
Raked or Stepped?
There a two options when installing Colorbond panels on sloped terrain.
Traditionally, you will see these panels stepped; the issue is this leaves large gaps under at each step, and it looks untidy and jagged at the top.
The solution is to Rake the fence, and it is our preferred method for installation

Plinth boards
Plinth boards are either timber, concrete, or matching powder-coated aluminium sleepers designed to be built into the Colorbond fence.
They are also designed for ground contact, allowing the plinth to sit on top or buried below the surface of the ground, eliminating gaps completely.
Great for raised garden beds or pet proofing your property.
Note: Note designed to be a retaining structure.

Colorbond Gates
Colorbond gates come pre-built, fully welded frames or as a kit that is cut and screwed to any width on-site.
We always recommend the fully welded frames where possible.
Standard heights, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m
Standard widths: Pedestrian 900mm, Large access 1500mm, Double Gate vehicle access, 3000mm opening.

Our preferred brand of gate latches and hinges is D&D Technologies, an Australian-made product that is hands-down the best gate hardware solution on the market.
